Thomas L. Wolford,MD. received his Medical Degree from The Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri. He performed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. He then went on to do a Fellowship in Cardiology at the Emory University affiliated hospitals in Atlanta, GA and a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, Congestive Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology at Saint Louis University Medical Center, Missouri. Dr. Wolford worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology and as a staff physician at John Cochran VA Medical Center in Saint Louis prior to joining Southern Heart Group. He has performed extensive research in the field of Cardiology and is well published. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and in Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology and The American Heart Association.
